Savory Spring Farms is no longer operating under this name.
Several of the families from the Savory Spring Farms’ community in Wisconsin have moved to Minnesota to start two new communities. The first group went to Mora, MN, where eighteen families have now been on their new lands for three years, making the fields their own and becoming thoroughly in sync with the Minnesota landscape and climate. They will produce the majority of the produce for the CSA membership under the name Twin Lakes CSA. This offers much improved delivery access for Twin Cities members from the regions top organic produce growers, as well as new opportunities for exciting and expanded share options. The “best CSA ever” just keeps getting better!
For those CSA members who have come to especially enjoy the wild-crafted treats from Savory Spring Farms, no worries!! Spring Creek Produce Farm is on one of the original farms of the Savory Spring Farms’ community in Wisconsin. They will continue to provide many of the very special, seasonal foods from the Driftless Area that members look forward to each year. May delivery will include wild-crafted treasures such as morel mushrooms, leeks, garlic, mint, watercress, asparagus, sorrel, maple syrup, along with the earliest, tender garden delights like baby spinach, radishes, baby beets, and scallions.
